WE ARE REVELRY

Like many great stories, ours begins in college. Each of us came to New York to pursue unique routes of education in the arts, business, software and economics. As fate would have it, these random paths crossed thanks to our high school sweethearts, Manny and Sammy. Though they came to the city together, their marks were made at separate institutions– Pace University and NYU (respectively). It was here that they’d find their future roommates, collaborators and friends who became family.

As Manny and Sammy couldn’t be kept apart naturally neither could their friends. For two particular roommates, this was especially true. Aishia (who lived with Sammy) and Brandon (who lived with Manny) started to see a lot more of each other…and their romantic relationship was born.

And Alex? Bouncing ‘round the city aboard his electric bike, he could be found sharing a laugh at home with his roomies (Brandon and Manny), making friends at bodegas, shooting film by the water, or frequenting NYU’s central hub of Washington Square Park.

Sharing a balance of logistic practicality and creative action, this collective of friends, lovers and family quickly realized their value in adapting and documenting other people’s stories. Not only do we have a knack for intersectionality, but our eyes are keen on capturing the moments where love transcends, where ideas are born, where stories unfold, and where revelry is found.
